Past Intern Features Ford
Following her internship, she returned to the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University. As part of her junior year's spring class assignment, Kathleen reconnected with FOX Sports Ohio to write a feature on our very own SVP & GM, Henry Ford, entitled "Henry Ford: The ambitious idea man behind FOX Sports Ohio."
This feature is not your traditional run-of-the-mill biography of an executive. That much is clear from the very first sentence:
"You would probably never imagine the general manager of a major television network speeding down the side of a Hawaiian mountain at 50 miles per hour on inline skates, but that’s exactly the type of thing Henry Ford likes to do."
Kathleen posted the entire article on her blog, "Everything in Between." Her feature on Ford is located here! (and scroll down). Check it out. Not only will you learn a lot about Henry Ford, you will also enjoy the style of a very talented writer!
Great job Kathleen. We are very proud of you!
Seemann and Smith come aboard!
Seemann was born and raised in Canton, Ohio and majored in journalism at The Ohio State University. You can check out his latests post here: Reports: Nebraska to join Big 10.
Eric Smith is the site's newest addition, although like Seemann, he is not new to sports interactive media. His specialty is the Columbus Blue Jackets, and he comes to FOXSportsOhio.com from www.hockeybuzz.com, where he serves as blogger for all things Jackets. He is covering the NHL Draft and Blue Jackets news for FOXSportsOhio.com through a blog entitled Jackets Racket.
Smith has been a hockey fan his whole life and started out a Flyers fan until the Jackets entered the picture. He grew up in Indiana and is now in Columbus, where his son plays travel hockey. He says,"I am just a hockey nut and will watch any level just as long as its hockey!"
As the website's latest hockey guru, he promises to give a strong opinion and asks that fans offer the same in return. You can read his latest post by clicking on him!
