A Game for MyCom

As part of FOX SupPORTS OHIO’s “Season of Support,” FOX Sports Ohio will feature the Cleveland Foundation’s MyCom program during the Cavaliers game telecast on Saturday, December 18.

MyCom, short for My Commitment, My Community, helps coordinate and fund local agencies that provide quality youth programs, including after-school activities, summer jobs and special help during school transitions to kindergarten, middle school, high school and beyond. MyCom’s partners are committed to providing kids with the positive experiences and caring adults they need to reach their full potential.

When the Cavs take on the New York Knicks at 7:30pm on Dec. 18, the network will highlight MyCom and provide fans an opportunity to make a financial donation. Fans can text Give4Cleve to 20222 to donate $5 to MyCom. They can also visit http://www.mycom.net/ to learn more and donate online.

One hundred percent of all donations will go directly to MyCom.

During the 7pm pre-game show, Cavaliers Live, the network will interview Lisa L. Bottoms, Program Director for Human Services and Child and Youth Development for the Cleveland Foundation. During the game, local children who benefit from the MyCom program will be in attendance of the game and will be interviewed as well.
