Taking Fans Back in "National Pastime"

From the producers of “Baseball’s Golden Age,” FOX Sports Ohio is excited to announce a new program, “The Boys in the Hall,” featuring interviews with legendary members of the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Thirteen different half-hour episodes hosted by Tom Brokaw will present an interview with a different legendary Hall of Famer.

The show will air on Sundays beginning May 29th and each episode will replay throughout the following week.

Of the 13 episodes on the schedule, four showcase an interview with an Ohio legend. Baseball fans will not want to miss Cleveland Indians Larry Doby, Bob Feller, and Robin Roberts as well as Cleveland Indian and Cincinnati Red Frank Robinson giving first-hand accounts of their life as a ballplayer, from the first time they picked up a bat and ball to their induction into the Hall of Fame.

Their stories, along with those of the other nine Hall of Famers, will take viewers back to a time when baseball was truly the “National Pastime” as the stars that played the game cemented their place as timeless heroes.

Prior to the episode airings, Hall of Fame baseball writer Hal McCoy will also be looking back at each players storied careers. His articles, such as the first one on Duke Snyder, will be available on foxsportsohio.com.
